About Fade 2 Black Productions and The Lumiere Media Event Studio:

Established in 2001, Fade 2 Black Productions, Inc. is a Boca Raton, Florida based company founded by Zachery D. Powell and Daniel J. Sanz. The two friends teamed up in college and established a production partnership that offered corporate client services and independent movie production.
Event Production
For more than 25 years, Fade 2 Black Productions has served professional video production in Boca Raton, delivering high-impact commercial, corporate, and broadcast content. Over decades of on-location filming and live event production, we have partnered with countless organizations and witnessed firsthand the complexities they navigate to bring a vision to life. From high-stakes corporate summits to fast-paced television broadcasts, our foundation is built on executing successful productions while managing the unpredictable nature of live environments.
We have learned the profound struggles clients face when organizing live events. The traditional model often involves coordinating a fragmented team of external A/V vendors, juggling the complications of in-house venue technology, and managing the immense stress of keeping a live audience engaged while ensuring virtual streams run smoothly. Clients are frequently burdened with the technical heavy lifting, distracting them from their primary goal: delivering the show their audience expects.
Establishing Lumiere Media Event Studio

We recognized that clients needed more than just a camera crew; they needed a trusted, all-in-one production partner to absorb that stress. By bringing our broadcast-television standards, dedicated support staff, and multi-camera live-switching expertise to every project, we have successfully solved these logistical nightmares. We take ownership of the entire technical ecosystem—from audio mixing to virtual guest integration—allowing presenters to simply step on stage and shine.
To further eliminate the friction of event production, we now offer our own dedicated, private corporate event studio in the heart of Boca Raton. Designed to comfortably host up to 100 attendees, The Lumiere is engineered from the ground up for hybrid events, seminars, workshops, and podcasts. The centerpiece is a massive 24-foot by 10-foot 4K LED video wall, backed by a state-of-the-art production control room, NDI network routing, and multi-camera broadcasting.
The Lumiere Legacy

The name "Lumiere" honors Auguste and Louis Lumière, the visionary French brothers widely regarded as the founding fathers of modern cinema. In 1895, they achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first to project a motion picture onto a screen for a live audience. By adopting this name for our studio, we are paying homage to the exact moment when visual storytelling evolved from a solitary viewing into a shared, communal experience.
Operating out of Lyon, France, the brothers invented the Cinématographe—a revolutionary, lightweight device that functioned as a camera, printer, and projector all in one.

Before their innovation, early film experiences like Thomas Edison's Kinetoscope were restricted to a single viewer peering into a peephole cabinet. The Lumières shattered that isolation. Their famous December 1895 public screening at the Grand Café in Paris presented a series of short, everyday scenes—such as workers leaving a factory and a train pulling into a station. It captivated the crowd and proved that moving images could serve as a powerful public medium, effectively birthing the cinematic experience.

Just as the Lumière brothers built the foundation for presenting dynamic visual content to a live audience, our Lumiere event studio is designed to elevate modern presentations. Whether presenting a high-definition corporate seminar, integrating virtual guests, or broadcasting a live-streamed event, the core philosophy remains the same. We strive to honor their pioneering spirit by delivering a flawless, immersive visual experience that brings audiences and presenters together.
